Appropriate dress helps students foster a positive attitude about themselves, school, and learning.
Girls in grades K through 3 wear the uniform plaid jumper with a white Peter Pan collared blouse purchased from the uniform store on Mass days. On non-Mass days, in addition to the jumper, girls also have the option of wearing navy pants/uniform shorts (black pants and shorts are not permitted) with a uniform banded polo with school logo or a uniform logoed vest with a Peter Pan collared blouse.
Girls in grades 4 through 8 wear the plaid skirt with the white or light blue, banded polo with school logo or with the uniform blouse and logoed vest. Navy blue pants/uniform shorts (black pants and shorts are not permitted) may also be worn with the logo polo or blouse and vest. All girls in grades 4 through 8 must also have a school logo vest to be worn over the white logoed polo or white uniform blouse on Mass days and for other special events.
All boys are required to wear navy pants/uniform shorts (black pants and shorts are not permitted) and either a white or light blue polo with the school logo. Boys must also have a white (short or long sleeve) dress shirt with school logo and solid navy tie to wear for Mass and other special events. Shirts should be tucked in and worn with a black belt. Ties should be appropriate in length.
Small religious medals or crosses may be worn by all students. Girls may wear one pair of earrings that fit on a dime. Bracelets are not permitted.
Makeup and Nail Polish
Make-up may not be worn. Only clear nail polish is acceptable. Students will be asked to remove their nail polish in the office if it is worn to school.
On special occasions, the school will announce days when uniforms need not be worn. If children are permitted to dress up or down, parents are reminded that the clothing worn should be appropriate to school.
Sundresses, halter, midriff or tank tops, short shorts or tight clothing are not acceptable and parents will be called to bring appropriate clothing before the child may attend class. The decision of the propriety is the authority of the school.
