Athletic Association Officers:
Volunteer Sign-Up for the Miracles in March Tournament
Check back often to see changes to the schedule
St, Anne is holding the 9th annual Miracles in March basketball tournament through March 19. This is a major fundraiser for the athletic program and the school. We are asking parents of any child involved in the St. Anne Athletic program (Basketball, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Little Dribblers and Spirit Squad) to sign up to work at least six games over the course of the tournament. Your options are working the Door, 50-50 Raffle, Concessions, Clock or in the kitchen. Those working the first game of the day will also help with set up and those working the last game of the day will help with clean up. You can sign up in one of two ways:
Rich will update the spreadsheet with new volunteers and keep that on the school website so families can see what slots are still available.
Remember, if you cannot work your shift for some reason we ask that you please find a replacement and let Rich know. We have 3 weeks remaining for the tournament. Your family can pick their own slots and sign up to reach the minimum of six games.
Please direct any questions to Rich Unger. In addition, high school students interested in working for community service hours can email Rich.
Saint Anne Athletics includes Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Little Dribblers, Girls Volleyball, Boys Volleyball, Cheerleading, Spirit Squad, and Track. In addition, Saint Anne students participate with other schools in Boys Football, Soccer and Cross Country.
Parents and fans - please watch this Dioceses of Pittsburgh video on Parent Behavior. Remember that when you are attending a Catholic school game at Saint Anne School you are required to act as Christ would want you to behave. You must display good sportsmanship and a Christian perspective at all times. If you choose not to follow this directive, the Building Official appointed by the school Principal or Athletic Director will ask you to leave.
