Dear Parents,

Happy New Year!  This letter is a little later than usual – but school is a very busy place in December!

January Calendar:  There is an early dismissal on Friday, January 18, for a faculty meeting.  Also, there is no school on Monday, January 21, in observance of the Martin Luther King holiday.

Later in the month, students in grades 4 through 8 will not have classes on Thursday, January 31, and parent conferences will be held for those grades.  Students in grades K through 3 will be off on Friday, February 1, for their conferences.

Report Cards:  Grades for the first semester close on January 18th and report cards will be sent home on January 22.  Conferences will be the following week as indicated above and request forms will be sent with report cards.

Sacramental Program: There is an Evening of Reflection for second grade parents on Thursday, January 10.  Mrs. Grella has sent home the information.

Catholic Schools Week:  We will celebrate CSW from January 27 through February 2.  The PTG Board will finalize all the events at this month’s meeting and an agenda for the week will be sent home after the meeting.

Because of health reasons, Miss Nedzesky has gone on disability and did not return after the holiday.  In spite of giving it everything, the nature of the job and the structure of the building just made things too hard.   We certainly are grateful for her years of service to the school and hope her health improves.  Mr. Opperman will substitute for her for the remainder of the year.

 God bless,

 Mrs. J
